Collapse has sealed the entrance, but the chamber remains intact beneath the ringfort: corbelled stone walls rising inward and a roof of large slabs spanning the dark. The builders cut or dug a passage through living rock, then shaped it into a room small enough to hide and strong enough to resist forgetting. Whatever it held has vanished, yet the chamber still presses back against time, waiting for someone to break through the debris and remember why it was made.

In centre of ringfort (8290). Collapsed opening reveals corbelled stone-lined chamber, roofed with large slabs. Inaccessible.
