Man-made underground passage in Follistown

An underground passage was discovered in digging a well in the back garden of a house at Follistown in 1974. It is described (SMR file) as a large beehive chamber (diam. 2m) with a passage running NW (L 5.25m; H c. 0.75m) that met a cross-passage (L c. 5.5m; H c. 1.1m) at a T-junction but both arms of this passage were blocked with collapse.
