What is recorded here

Two hidden passages twist beneath the Dromore ringfort, waiting for a hand strong enough to pull their covers aside. They vanished from common memory, yet they remain buried tools of the fort, perhaps built for escape when fire or fury came, perhaps made for private worship in the dark. The earth keeps them clean and patient. One day someone may open them and hear the heartbeat of the old fort answering back.

In ringfort (CO032-11401-). Bowman (1934, 599) recorded two Man-made underground passages in this fort (see CO032-11402-), which 'could easily be opened'. No visible surface trace.
