Derrycreeveen, County Cork: an underground clay-cut passage once opened beside a possible rath. People walked below the ground until the hole was judged dangerous and filled. The earth closed over the work, erasing the entrance but leaving the shape of human effort buried beneath the field.

In a possible rath (CO128-040001-). According to local information, an opening in the ground gave access to a clay-cut Man-made underground passage. It was filled in for safety reasons and there are now no visible remains of it. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
