Man-made underground passage in Curraduff (bear By., Kilcaskan Par.) — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

No visible chamber exists, yet the ground itself remembers the shape of a hollow place. A man-made passage may still lie beneath the centre ringfort at Curraduff, hidden under grass and forgotten steps. The slight depression marked in the field could be all that remains of its entrance, waiting for someone brave enough to imagine the dark below.

O'Shea and Crowley (1972, 3) mention possible entrance to Man-made underground passage in centre ringfort (CO104-00801-). Slight depression may now indicate position. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
