Man-made underground passage in Crannagh (kiltartan Ed)

Man-made underground passage

What is recorded here

Crannagh held an L-shaped underground passage within a possible rath, now buried and invisible. The landlord filled it in, erasing the only proof that people once cut or dug a hidden route through that field. Whatever lived or moved through that passage is gone, leaving behind a flat field and a memory told secondhand.
Within the interior of a possible rath (GA122-064----). According to the landlord, there was a 'mound' and an 'L-shaped' Man-made underground passage in this field; he filled in the Man-made underground passage. No visible surface trace survives.
