What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle W-facing slope at the W foothills of Carrickbyrne Hill. There is no evidence of the enclosure (WX035-012001-) at a developed farm complex, but there are local descriptions of a possible Man-made underground passage that was found c. 1970 running NE from the tower house. This is described as a stone-built passage in which a person could crouch, but it could be a drain assoiciated with the tower house. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 15 October, 2012
