What is recorded here

That is the largest chambered passage in Ireland. It stretches more than seven metres beneath a Galway rath, built from dry stone and sealed at one end. A displaced capstone at the other still opens the dark, waiting for someone brave enough to crawl inside and listen.

Within a rath (GA027-030----). Well-preserved drystone-built rectangular chamber (L >7.2m) running NW-SE with a blocked creep in NW wall. Present access is via a displaced capstone at SE end.
