Man-made underground passage in Cloddagh (sherkin Island)

On Sherkin Island near Traghowenmore. Fleming (1893, 211) describes six earth-cut chambers arranged in straight line and joined by creepways. Exact location not known. Regarded as separate site to Man-made underground passage (CO149-028---) by McCarthy (1977, 313). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
