Man-made underground passage in Clashmorgan

Discovered in 1976 during field fence removal. McCarthy (1977, 194) described two stone-built chambers at right angles to each other giving T-shaped plan. Chamber 1: long axis E-W; W end clay-cut; earth-cut creepway to chamber 2 in centre of N wall. Entrance to creepway framed by jambs. Chambers similar in size (averaging L 5m; Wth 1.3m; H 1.8); both chambers and creepway roofed with stone lintels.
