Man-made underground passage in Cathair Deargáin Thuaidh

Caherdorgan/Cathair Deargáin: A roughly circular cashel (KE042-068----; National Monument No.221/47) within which are 5 well-preserved clochauns and 1 or possibly 2 Man-made underground passages. It is situated on a WNW facing slope and commands an excellent view over much of the N side of this W end of the Dingle Peninsula. A possible Man-made underground passage passage, partly contained within the thickness of the wall of hut KE042-068001-, opens onto the surface immediately outside the structure at N.
