Man-made underground passage in Carrowmoney

In S half of ringfort (MA109-114001-). Three stone-built chambers (unconnected), roofed with lintels. Interpretation difficult due to collapse. Entrance near bank gives access to a small, narrow chamber. Second entrance in interior of fort gives access to a chamber (L 6m; H 1.4m). Third entrance gives access to chamber, largely infilled.
