Man-made underground passage in Carrigpark

Gogan (1929a, 4) recorded 'a two chambered Man-made underground passage in a field beside Carrig railway gates, about two miles east of Mallow; beehive chambers connected by a low passage, no external associated remains (communicated by R.M. Evans, Carker, Doneraile)'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
