What is recorded here

Caherdean is a hidden cave, not a public cave. It is a man-made underground passage inside a rath in County Kerry. In the 1940s an entrance was recorded in the centre of the rath, but no visible remains survive. The earth may have swallowed the passage, or the passage may have swallowed the memory of the entrance.
