Under the rath at Boolacullane in County Kerry, immense stone slabs formed two connecting underground chambers that men avoided because collapse seemed likely. The passage has vanished from sight, leaving behind a hollow darkness where human hands once shaped the earth.

In a rath (KE048-089001-). This possible Man-made underground passage was described in the 1940s as two connecting underground hut sites composed of immense slabs of stone which were considered too dangerous to enter (Minutes of the Co. Kerry Field Club, 1946, vol. 2, 702). There are no visible remains of this possible Man-made underground passage.
