Baltovin holds a buried tunnel beneath a bivallate rath, its northern entrance forgotten under soil and time. The passage may have let people move through the hill when storms closed the valleys or when secrecy mattered more than distance. Its loss is not empty; it is the kind of place that stops existing only because nobody remembers the direction of its mouth.

Bivallate rath KE021-004---- consists of a sub-circular inner area enclosed by an earthen bank. In the N sector of the interior lay the entrance to a Man-made underground passage (KE021-004001-). According to the landowner, the tunnel travelled in a N direction, but this feature has now been completely filled in. The above description is derived from C.
