Ballytrasna, charrowkeel (kilmaine By.) is a man-made underground passage hidden inside an old rath in County Mayo. Built of dry stone, it runs from the inner bank toward the northwest, suggesting people once cut a private tunnel through a defended landscape. By 1980 some roof stones had been broken or removed, and by 1990 the passage could no longer be entered. What remains is a swallowed threshold: a hole in the bank where a hidden room may still wait beneath the grass.

In a rath (MA118-093001-). This drystone Man-made underground passage extends from the inner bank of the rath at WNW through the NW quadrant. When inspected in 1980 it was found to have suffered considerable disturbance, with some of the lintels removed and broken up. The in situ lintels of a passage were still visible in the edge of a circular disturbance depression in the inner bank at WNW (SMR file).
