What is recorded here
Ballynacloghy holds a man-made underground passage inside a rath, though no surface trace remains for anyone to point at. Local information also names a children's burial ground nearby, giving the hidden place a bruised and tender purpose. The absence of a visible entrance does not remove the passage; it withdraws the passage from ordinary sight and hands it over to memory, story and imagination.
According to local information, there is a Man-made underground passage within the interior of a rath (GA102-002----). No visible surface trace is visible. A children's burial ground (GA102-002001-) is also associated.
