What is recorded here

Under the northern edge of a Galway ringfort, a narrow oval trench cuts six metres through dark earth. Stone fragments still line its sides, proving hands shaped the passage rather than water. People may have crawled through it during storms or hidden valuables from raiders, while others forgot it existed entirely. The uneven floor preserves that forgotten purpose, waiting for boots to feel its edges again.

In N sector of a ringfort (GA059-002----). It consists of an oval hollow (L 6.2m, Wth 3.4m), running NW-SE and up to 1m in depth. Traces of possible stone-facing are visible along the sides of the hollow and the base is quite uneven and stony.
