Man-made underground passage in Baile Na Bhfionnúrach

On lower slopes of Brandon mountain range. A pair of circular huts set 5.5m apart. Now very ruined and partly overlain by later field wall. In the larger SE hut KE034-038----, a lintelled passage in the E section of the wall may be part of a Man-made underground passage (KE034-038002-). It is 1.1m long at least, .55m wide, and .25m high at the opening, but is now blocked. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.
