Ahane Upper hides three man-made passages beneath a levelled ringfort. Broker recorded them as formerly open in 1937, but no surface trace remains visible today. They may have served as shelter, storage or secret routes for the people who lived there, yet the earth has taken back their shape.
In levelled ringfort (CO029-07801-). Broker (1937, 51) recorded three underground passages which were 'formerly open'. No visible surface trace.
