Man-made underground passage

In pasture, on W-facing slope overlooking Dripsey River. Hartnett (1939, 180) recorded 'at least two chambers, oval in plan with a communicating passage, just large enough to creep through'. Chambers had 'stone walls like beehives' and were 'roofed with large stones'. No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
