Internal diam. 16.35m N-S, 14.45m E-W. A subcircular area enclosed by the grassed-over remains of a stone wall. The wall facings are evident at some points and at the W suggest an original width of 1.8m. A modern wall is built on the older foundation along the entire E half. Just SE of the centre is a triangular piece of rock outcrop (DG080-026002-) .95m × 0.95m × 0.9m, .42m high. A depression .2m × 0.17m, depth .08m is crudely carved in this. The site is located on a knoll of rock outcrop on the SW part of the Glen-columbkille valley floor.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Compiled by: Brian Lacey with Eamon Cody, Claire Cotter, Judy Cuppage, Noel Dunne, Vincent Hurley, Celie O'Rahilly, Paul Walsh and Seán Ó Nualláin (Lifford: Donegal County Council, 1983).
