What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1870, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystack and rooflights. Lined and ruled rendered walls. Timber sash windows to upper floors. Timber shopfront, c. 1975.
The scale and form of this former house make a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape. Though now altered to the ground floor, the upper levels of the building are enhanced by the retention of the timber sash windows and slate roof. This house forms part of an interesting terrace with the adjoining buildings to the east and west.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
