What is recorded here

Maguins Island is one of three small islands dividing Sligo Harbour from the outer bay, sitting beside Coney Island and Oyster Island in County Sligo. The surrounding tidal flats produce shellfish that drew people to the coast from the Stone Age, while ships have wrecked on these waters since at least 1588. Perhaps the islet marked a dangerous entrance, its name preserving a warning that the sea repeated long after the port faded.
Maguins Island is recorded as a islet in County Sligo. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
