Lough Mask House 14

Recorded cave place

What is recorded here

Knocknamucklagh in County Mayo holds the fourteenth recorded house beside Lough Mask, a cave chamber where human hands may have shaped rock long before written memory. The water beneath the hill still moves through darkness, carrying marble dust and forgotten breath. Some people dropped marbles into similar holes and watched them vanish, proving the earth remains hungry. Others sat beside the lough at dusk and listened for the chamber to answer back.
