Lorna Byrne

Lorna Byrne was born in Dublin on 25 March 1953, but she describes a life where invisible visitors crowded every ordinary room. She grew up in Kilmainham and Ballymun, labelled different and unable to read, yet she claims angels warned her about marriage, loss and the book she would one day write. What others called hallucination or poverty of mind may have been a rare form of attention, where the unseen world speaks plainly and the woman finally learns to transcribe it.
