What is recorded here

Rose Emily Ridge was born in Dublin in 1873, the only surviving child of a family that soon lost its father and crossed oceans to New Zealand. She later reinvented herself as Lola Ridge in America, writing fiery poems about ghettos and radical life while placing her own son in an orphanage to chase art and politics. Dublin gave her a childhood marked by loss and departure, but she turned that wound into a voice for others who felt excluded.
