What is recorded here

Lochwood Tower rose in the fifteenth century beside a medieval mount, later dressed in a seventeenth-century garden where stone and soil still tangle. The tower may have watched roads, rivers or rivalries, while the mount suggests older defenses beneath later pride. Whatever lived there, the layering remains: a fortress, a garden, a mound and an unknown building stacked like memories refusing to erase each other.
