What is recorded here

Lisroe is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where the boundary between human law and older claim grows thin. People may have lived there before fear or wonder moved them elsewhere, leaving behind a hollow place that remembers being held. The clay does not explain itself, but it preserves the shape of every hand that touched it and every choice that abandoned it.
