What is recorded here
On a ridge in tillage. A well-preserved circular rath (diam. 27.4m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Several gaps breach the inner bank but that at SE (Wth 1.8m) may be original. The fosse and outer bank have been disturbed at SE; the latter is overlain by field walls at S and W. A mound (GA104-010----) lies c. 7m to the NE. (McCaffrey 1952, 208, no. 27)
