Gateway, c.1820, comprising four-centre-headed opening with chamfered reveals, irregular coursed piers, buttresses, and half-crow stepped parapet over having rectangular recessed panel with chamfered surround, and serpentine motif. Set back from road in grounds shared with Lismore Castle with sections of random rubble stone flanking boundary walls.
An attractive gateway incorporating high quality stone work, particularly to the carved detailing that includes an elegant serpentine motif of artistic design distinction.
