What is recorded here

Lisminaun is a Galway fairy fort, a subcircular earthen ring on a south-facing grassland slope. Its bank and partial fosse still mark a space where people may have lived, feared, or played before memory thinned. A field bank now cuts across the old line, and modern gaps widen the edge. The place keeps its shape, waits for attention, and refuses to explain itself.

On a S-facing slope in grassland. A subcircular rath (42m WNW-ESE; 40m NNE-SSW), in fair condition, defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter survives from SSE to SW.
