Lisheen is a children's burial ground in County Mayo, Ireland. It is a place where infant life ended too quickly, and the community marked that loss with a separate ground rather than mixing it into adult rows. The name itself carries the shape of the tragedy: small bodies, young years, and a local duty to remember them clearly.
