What is recorded here
Lisheen Childrens Burial Grounds is a sacred death place for young children, set within a living townland rather than hidden behind walls. It is not a display or a dungeon, but a quiet human boundary where joy, loss and memory still meet. To enter is to stop treating the children as fantasy and begin answering the responsibility that their names still carry.
