In pasture, on a NW-facing slope. A circular area (38m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 8.3m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.6m) N-W. The bank has been levelled W-N where the ground slopes gently down from the interior to the surrounding field. An external fosse (Wth c. 2.4m; D 0.6m) is evident SW-W but is covered by overgrowth. The interior slopes down to the NNW. There is a circular depression (diam. 2m; D 0.4m) in the NW quadrant of the interior. Field boundaries radiate from the N, SSW and W arcs of the rath.
