Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with a possible standing stone (TN020-059) to the W. A raised circular area (diam. 39m E-W) enclosed by a bank, mainly reduced to a scarp (H 2.5-3.5m), a wide external fosse (Wth 3m; D 1.5m), slight traces of an outer bank (Wth 3m; ext. H 1m) visible from E to S and a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 4m) at E. Rubbish has been dumped into the fosse at NW.
