Lisanaifrinn More is a circular rath in North Galway, marked by two banks, a stone-lined entrance, and a hidden underground passage in the west. It still stands as a fairy fort, inviting wonder rather than explanation. A person may have lived there, feared the dark tunnel, or simply followed the old road past it. The field wall and grass have not erased the shape, which is enough to keep it alive.

On a W-facing slope in undulating grassland. Well-preserved circular rath (D 25m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. A field wall overlies the outer bank from NE through E to SE. There is a stone-lined entrance causeway at NE.
