Lios, Flemingstown is a circular early-medieval ringfort, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries, characterized by an earthen bank with a stone core and an external fosse. Local tradition may associate such sites with fairy dwellings, reflecting the later folklore that often attached to these ancient settlements.
