Linda Nolan was born in Dublin in 1959, but the family crossed to Blackpool in 1962 to perform as the Singing Nolans. She later became the lead voice of the international girl group the Nolans, touring with Frank Sinatra and winning the Tokyo Music Festival before leaving in 1983 to embrace the Naughty Nolan label.
