Liadh Ní Riada

Liadh Ní Riada was born in Dublin in 1966, the city where she later learned its institutions before carrying them elsewhere. She is the daughter of Seán Ó Riada, which means the birthplace belongs to a family already devoted to Irish identity. Her life moved from Dublin to European politics, then to a small cultural centre in Ballyvourney, where she still works to keep language and heritage alive.
