Powis Castle Park still holds a Post Medieval leat, a narrow water channel built to direct flow across land. The National Monuments Record of Wales recognizes it as a surviving feature from that era. Whether it served gardens, mills or drainage remains unrecorded, but the leat itself is real and marked in the official national record.
