What is recorded here
Located near the centre of the site, this poorly preserved shrine survives as a low, rectangular stony area which is partially defined by upright slabs. The mound averages .4m high and includes some quartz pebbles. The Delaps noted four slotted stones in situ at its corners, and a fifth example just N of the ogham stone (1910, 191). Only the latter stone is now visible. It is a sandstone conglomerate with an off-centre broad notch, .18m long x .1m wide. The shrine appears, from the Delaps illustration of it, to have been of the corner-post variety.
The above description is derived from O'Sullivan, A. and Sheehan, J. (compilers) 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University press. (1996), no. 940. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

This site is associated with a small, poorly preserved shrine, possibly of early Christian origin, though no specific saint or religious figure is clearly linked to it. The presence of quartz pebbles and upright slabs suggests a ritual or commemorative function, potentially connected to local folklore or pre-Christian traditions.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
