What is recorded here
Laundry Cottage on Castle Hill in Cardiff is a Post Medieval house recorded in the national monument list. It stands beside the hill's older shadows, small enough to hide but permanent enough to mark the neighbourhood. Maybe women rinsed cloth there before cars arrived, or children climbed its steps while the city grew around them. The cottage still belongs to the hill, waiting for someone to remember why it was built.
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Laundry Cottage, Castle Hill as House from the Post Medieval period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
