LARGE ENCLOSURE (rath?) & Man-made underground passage in Lisbanoe

No cage, but a company: an unknown woman, a strange man and a young girl in a narrow kitchen. The woman knew the man only as a shadow in the doorway. She wanted to leave, but the child held her wrist and would not explain why. The man set a cup of water on the table, not for drinking but for measuring the distance between them. When the woman touched the surface, the kitchen widened into a long room where every chair belonged to someone who had forgotten how to want. The girl released her wrist. The woman stepped through the water and stopped being the smallest part of the story.
