Laghtdauhybaun is an unclassified cairn in County Mayo, Ireland, where stacked stones still mark the edge of human memory. The exact purpose has faded, but the act of building remains visible: someone gathered stone, carried it across distance, and placed it against the sky. That much is certain. The rest belongs to imagination, where the cairn becomes a boundary marker, a burial, a warning, or a gift depending on the hunger of the person standing before it.
