Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Labrador: Mackenzie's Rock, Skerryvore, Atlantic as Steamship (19th Century)-(1899). The steamship *Labrador* was lost in 1899 near Skerryvore, a treacherous reef off the west coast of Scotland, after striking Mackenzie's Rock. All 14 crew members perished, and the wreck remains a notable maritime disaster in Scottish coastal history.
