Terraced three-bay four-storey former house, built c. 1840, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched tile roof and rendered walls. Replacement uPVC windows to upper floors. Glazed ceramic shopfront, c. 1910, comprising pilasters with consoles flanking fixed window and recessed door, with replacement timber fascia.

Though many interesting features and materials have been replaced, this former house retains a fine early twentieth-century shopfront, which is a notable feature of the building. The glazed ceramic shopfront is of apparent artistic design and is an interesting addition to the urban landscape. It is a particularly uncommon feature in the city.
