Knockawaddra Mountain in County Kerry, Ireland, stands 342 metres high and carries a large recently discovered cairn. The hill may have watched herds, storms or forgotten prayers for centuries before anyone marked the stone. Its sudden visibility suggests people finally noticed what the mountain had long kept quiet.

Cairn described by Connolly (1999, 43-4) as; 'A large recently discovered cairn on Knockawaddra Mountain (342m)'.
