Kirk O'banks

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kirk O'banks as Chapel (early Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Kirk O'banks is associated with Saint Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer known for founding several early Christian sites in Perth and Kinross. The site is traditionally linked to cures for skin ailments and general healing, with local folklore suggesting that water from nearby wells was used in rituals for purification and recovery.
